Friday, January 11, 2008 @ 10:15 PM Today, Henry and I went out to have a farewell lunch before he leaves. We went to the arcade and he played his basketball game again. Regular habit of his ever since a few days ago when we chanced upon this game at Bugis. He loves it like crazy and doesn't seem to get tired of it ever. We played photo hunt cos usually he gets tired after playing like 1 or 2 rounds of the Basketball game so it just gives him a chance to rest while I indulge in some serious eye exercise. Yesterday, we went to get his BMT hair-cut and it was all shaved off. It's a new look and I think he looks like a very cute monk now. Haha. Kinda went out with him through out the whole of this week. Every single day. First time I ever felt kinda tired just going out cos it's like there's school then after that we'll meet up and then we'll be out till about 10pm, then I'll go home and rest. Anyway, its good that we bought all the necessary stuff that he needs. Such as prickly heat powder and cheap alarm clock. We actually got it at $2.80! Lol. Toa Payoh is a paradise for cheap but rather short-lived goods. Henry bought me this HUGE stuffed Tigger which we both found cute. We wanted to get it at the arcade initially but realised it would probably cost us a lot of money and tries so we just crossed over and bought this at Mini Toons! ![]() I love it. We haven't thought of a name for it yet. I think Gregory suits my Tigger. It will be called Greg the Tigger. And it's permanent home is now on my bed. I'll hug it to sleep everynight. ****** Meanwhile, my class is full of a mix of people. From totally crazy to totally not. We have like, 4 retainees this year in my class. Can you beat that? I love the fact that everybody comes from single-sex schools so that there is a sense of reserved-ness amongst all of us. Just kinda like it. The girls in my class are all friendly and nice to chat with, whilst whereas boys aren't really that into class-bonding yet, I think they will be soon when they open up. Things are going well, so far. Thought it's only been the first 2 days of proper school, I hope we become a really bonded and tight-knitted class. *crosses fingers* I'm not asking for that, just that I'd be happy if it did happen. ****** I wanna give this up. But is it even possible? |
