It seems like my Paroxysm for music has rushed back again- it stirs up so many emotions within me, unleashing passion and embracing my soul.

Hello, stranger.

I've missed you.

Just came back from The Da Vinci Decoded! It was an eye-opener. Yeah, I'm going to get the book and read it. Should be able to complete it in 2 or 3 days. The last time I read it, I almost fell asleep.

Can't wait for the movie though.

Updates:

1) I bought a new aquamarine BLUE (my new favourite colour! yummy.) bohemian skirt with sequinned details. Nice.

Note that I said skirt, and not mini-skirt. I'm having a new infatuation with long flowy dresses. Going to achieve the summer beach resort kinda look, complete with curled hair, sandals and beaded necklaces. No flower in hair though. Don't want my brother to eat it up.

2) I am going for the VJC open house on 29 April, 9 am to 12pm. Any takers?

3) I am going to take up dance lessons.

4) I have started on my new exercise regime. 3 km daily for 5 days a week and no late night suppers. Shall start doing 40 sit-ups everyday. Hope I'll stay on it.

4) My brother is learning drum lessons from The Drummer Guy (William Jr Lim) from ELECTRICO! Cool. He's tall and dark with curly hair. He also looks like Adam Brody. I can't wait to check out his drum set.

*****

You know that
I love you
You know that
I want to know you so much more
More than I have before.

These words are
From my heart
These words are
Not made up
I will live for you
I am devoted to you.

Chorus
King of Majesty
I have one desire
Just to be with you my Lord,
Just to be with you my Lord

Jesus you are the Saviour of my soul
And forever and ever I'll give my praises to you
Jesus you are the Saviour of my soul
And forever and ever
I'll give my praises to you

Jesus you are the Saviour of my soul
And forever and ever
I'll give my praises to you

YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY
I'm so HAPPY today!

Why?

Beats me.

Everything went great today and things have been picking up lately. And I mean, picking up. A LOT!

I'm so happy that I could hug myself and dance in the rain right now.

Happy happy happy. I'm in one of those moods again.

It's great to be serenaded. Literally. AHHHHHH!

Stop me before I start smiling too much and my face hurts.

Today, I was walking home from the bus-stop when I saw something which touched me deeply.

I was walking along the tiled pavement when I saw an old lady sitting in a small corner of the bus-stop. This was an unusual sight as I had never seen her there before. She had set up a small stall selling tissue paper and other miscellaneous like nail clippers, ointment etc. Immediately I felt a tinge of sympathy for her, because somehow whenever I see old people, I can't help feeling sad for them.

It's like an empty void inside of me. It makes me want to step forward to help them and to offer them love and warmth. Just imagine, if they would even have proper food and shelter?

And there she was, looking so lonely in the corner that I almost wanted to go up there to hug her. I walked forward to buy a few packets of tissue paper. Before I could, a young executive who was smartly dressed stepped in front of me in a rather hurried manner. I assumed that he was going to buy it first, and so I gave way to him.

Young man: Eh auntie, how much?
Old lady: -points up 2 fingers- 20 cents.
Man: Okay.

He GRABBED a packet and literally walked away! The auntie was there looking rather shocked but she could not move as her legs were crippled! This smartly-dressed man, in a TOPMAN shirt and polished leather shoes. At this moment I felt so angry that I wanted to go straight up to confront him. But I told myself to cool down and I walked towards him in a composed manner.

Me: Er, excuse me Sir, I think you forgot to pay for the tissue.
Young man: Huh? Say what?
Me: Tissue. -points to what he is using to wipe his forehead-
Young man: Orh. Okay lor.

Obviously, he didn't want to make a scene at the bus stop so he walked forward to pay the old lady. The old lady smiled in gratitude (bless her!) and thanked him. She reached out her hand towards his and made slight contact as if to thank him. The man looked down and brushed her hand off immediately. I noticed the lady made a slight jerk back, as if she was stung. Then the young man did something inexplicable.

He kicked the huge bag of tissue! Packets flew out to the pavement. It seemed as though he did in on accident, but from my view it was clear that he did it to spite me. The whole bag toppled and created a huge mess. He threw me a "HAHA" look, then hurried towards a taxi and got in.

Geez. Never judge a person by his looks.

I rushed forward to help the auntie up as she had fallen while trying to retrieve the packets. My heart really went out to her. What I had just witnessed moved me deeply. I gathered the packets of tissue and helped her display it back in a neat manner. Then I asked her if she was fine, she said yes.

Poor lady. Bless her!

Then she did one amazing thing which reached deep into the recesses of my heart and tugged on it. Her wrinkled face creazed, and she smiled the warmest and most genuine smile that I had ever seen. Her eyes seemed to disappear into a tiny fold, like the way a baby usually does when you play with him. It was as if her face had literally lit up along with her sunny smile. It moved me and brought me to smile too.

She said, "Xiao mei, ni zhen hao". Loosely translated to: "Young lady, you're so kind."

She made my day :)

And then one middle-aged guy came up towards me and patted me on the shoulder. "From SCGS ah?" he asked. "Good school, good school".

AH I'M SO PROUD OF MY SCHOOL. Women of character and relevance. Yeah!

I wonder what my mom would say if I brought her home. Oh well, maybe next time. Andre suggests that I find her a husband too.

Just kidding.

(By the way, he has a sister from SCGS too! Well, she was in it. Yet another thing we have in common)

Yawn. Now it's time for me to tuck into my Maths.

HAPPY! :)

Can't say why, but I just am.

Haven't felt this fulfilled in a long time. The fact that my birthday is only 7 hours and 30 mins away already brings a rush of adrenaline in me. The Ooopmh. Sweet sixteen, huh?

Had Subway with jasmine and sheng en just now after school and we were discussing about how we can each spend more quiet time with God. And other related stuff. Did open my eyes a little, but I have much more to learn.

And then after that I got a little grouchy. Moody, I can say. Not a mid-life crisis but sometimes I just feel so stressed. Jasmine was there for me and talked to me. Felt really closed up at first and then I left the restaurant with many doubts in me. But I really thank you for listening to me and giving me solutions although sometimes I might not apply them. It means a lot to me. Thanks bestie!

I'm so excited. For some reason. I feel like screaming my head off and running in the rain now just enjoying the feel of raindrops on my skin.

Happy!

Can't say why, but I just am.
