Hi.

It is only the 2nd day since Henry has left for Tekong but somehow I just feel a little weird and lost. I don't really miss him but yet I feel that something is missing.

I guess I'm not used to it yet because we used to hang out almost everyday after school, and even if we did not meet each other we would still call each other to chat at night, and tell each other about our day.

I didn't get to send him off yesterday, though I would have loved to.

Last night, he called me. We chatted for a few minutes and then I suddenly heard a loud sound. He said, "It's a plane..." and then we waited for the sound to slowly fade away. Afterwards he had to hang up.

I kinda look forward to his phone calls now. Sometimes when I'm free and all, my mind starts to wander and I think about what he could possibly be doing right now in camp. Kinda interesting to hear about what goes on in there.

He says that he'll be back on 25th Jan, it's a friday.

I think I'll go and fetch him after school on that day. Can't wait.

Perhaps I need some time to get used to this. Meanwhile, I've decided to focus all my time on school-work and making friends in my new environment! I'm so glad my class has nice and friendly people. Hopefully 2 weeks will pass by soon. 0 Comments
