Men In Heels.





This guy posted in a forum that his girlfriend bought a pair of heels for him on his birthday and dared him to wear them. He said that it was quite fun to wear and could walk around easily in them even though they were 4 inches high.



As a guy, he said that he loves high heels, and has worn heels outside to go shopping or with his girlfriend. He even wears matching high heel shoes with his gf in public.

My question is: Can you accept guys who wear high heels?

I feel that it's okay for guys to try on heels for fun, after all, when will a male ever get a chance to try on heels in his whole life? I have friends who are guys who tried on heels and wore around in them before, probably their mom's, just for the fun of it.



However, I do find that guys who love heels and wear it out often to go shopping or with their friends do come across a little sissy.

Perhaps I am being too conservative.

Females have certain characteristics and behaviour to them that a normal, typical guy would probably not exhibit.

1) Wear skirts/dresses



2) Wear heels



3) Wear make-up for casual appearances only. (does not include stage makeup)



And so the list goes on...

There are certain guys who break the rules though. These are daring guys who wear heels, make-up and skirts for performing purposes (eg. drag queens) By acting as women, they earn money for a living.


We're drag.

To me, there are also some things a guy can do, that are just not restricted to girls alone. Guys can wear pink and still look smart in it.


Depends on your body type, sir...

But guys who wear heels for casual reasons, can cross the border.

Girls wear heels because they lengthen legs, make the calves more prominent and thus come across more sexy. High heels enhance sexy legs and make them look slimmer and longer.


Ooh baby, I'm eyeing at your heels...

Heels also push your butt out and your chest forward, thus creating a hourglass figure from the side.



If not for the notion that males in this world like long legs... After all, long legs are attributed to a symbol of fertility, studies have shown that women who have long legs come across to men as someone who is more reproductive. Females would not have to subject their feet to such physical torture.


Wearing heels can wear down your soles. After a long day of walking in heels, most women would feel that their balls of their feet aches and is suan. And also, there are men who run after a bus holding his gf's hand which cause her to run along with him in heels too.

Podiatrist Brendon Brown says, "The reason high heel wearers suffer back pain is your body's centre of gravity is thrust forward. High heels cause the forefoot to overwhelm the joints and the toes. Osteoarthritis can also be caused by high heels because the soft tissue overcompensates when under strain."



I would say this guy is daring and thinks out of the box. He is able to break out of a guy's shell and do something that most guys would not normally do. That, in a way is commendable.

Guys who are shorter than their girlfriends/wifes can wear men shoes with an extended heel.

But for a man who does not have height issues to wear women heels for casual appearances... Oh wells. That's another question.
