Sorry I haven't been updating for a period of time.

Hmmm. I haven't been doing much lately except studying lit and trying a few cakes every now and then and getting people to eat them to test my cakes. Haha. Those unfortunate people.

Anyway, I made a cheesecake topped with red jelly and strawberries and an oreo cheesecake. Been making a lot of cheesecakes lately cos I feel that cream cheese is one of the bestest tasting stuff in the world and yes, I'm also on a cheesecake craze lately. So- cheesecake is all you'll ever see or hear from me.

Anyway, today I went to school for night study with Henry and Xiling. I wanted to study lit (again). So I brought my oreo cheesecake for Henry to eat. Haha. I actually brought one yesterday too but it wasn't enough. So today I packed more (like two bigger slices, triangular shaped since yesterday was square) and XL was there too so I was like, haha now I have another taster! But I was kinda worried to let them try cos my cake looked so moist and a little gross. Hehh

Anyway I let them try. Hmmm. I really think I should improve more on the CRUST of the cake which is too soft. And not crisp enough.

Right after I took it out of the oven, it was perfect. Crisp crust and lovely moist creamy cheesy filling. With yummy melted oreo bits.

Oreo + Cream Cheese = Match-made in Heaven.

Then after I put it in the fridge. Voila! The whole thing turned into some nice gooey cheesy thing but the crust turned soft too!

Oh man. My next goal is to achieve that crisp crust without it getting spoiled by the fridge.

Anyway, I just made orange cheesecake. Haha.

Tomorrow I am gonna let him try again. I think he is going to die soon by eating many many cheesecakes.

Maybe. After my cheesecake phase I'll churn out something different. Like chocolate cakes? Haha. Been wanting to try some chocolate fudge cake... 0 Comments
